This is a Guide to install Desktop gui on Ubuntu server 18.04 in AWS Amazon Web Server EC2

How to run an Ubuntu with Gui on AWS
(For Windows Desktop Use)




a. Install Putty

b. Login to AWS and make an Instance

c. Install Ubuntu Gui remotely using putty

d. Connect and run Ubuntu instance with Gui using Putty and Remote Desktop            Connection

f. Tweaks




1. You need to install Putty

Go to https://www.putty.org/ and download putty






2. Login to AWS EC2 and make ubuntu Instance


a. Login to your AWS account, click  sign in to  console, look for services, click EC2




b. Click instances and click lunch Instances




c. After you have Amazon Machine Image and  Select Ubuntu AMI







d. Select Instance type, Click review and lunch





e. Click lunch




f. Create your key pair





g. Download the Key pair




h. Click view Instance





i. Just wait for the instance pending process




j. Run Puttygen to convert key pair ,pem to .ppk file

you can find it here 






Runt it and Select load


Select all Files

Open your .pem file

Click ok
Click Save private key



Open putty
Copy public IP address



Click session, Paste it to host name


Click SSH, Click Auth



Open your .ppk key pair



Go back to session, Type a save name and save, and click open



Click open and this one will come out , click yes



Type Ubuntu as login and password
